This piece is inspired by the Small Magellanic Cloud nebula and is one that I’ve always wanted to paint since I’ve seen others like it all over Pinterest years ago. I love astronomy and Neil DeGrasse Tyson is one of my favourite science communicators and astrophysicists who coined the term “keep looking up” as his personal trademark. I am a lifelong tea lover and space lover so this was a joy to paint for myself.
